Do you love fantasy? I love fantasy. I really, really love fantasy. People keep telling me that realistic stories are the way to go (and by people, I mean the voices in my head), and that what fundamentally makes a story good is structure and realistic characterization, but that has never changed the fact I want to and will write stories involving magic and monsters until the day my wrists rot out from the inside with carpal tunnel syndrome, or whatever you get from scribbling and typing too much, and I have to start dictating my stories to voice recognition software instead.

Anyway, if you love fantasy as much as I love fantasy, or even as much as J. R. R. Tolkien, H. P. Lovecraft, and Ursula LeGuin love fantasy, you should totally try reading some of `a target="_blank" href='http://www.feedbooks.com/search?query=lord+dunsany'~Lord Dunsany's`/a~ work. He is the granddaddy of modern fantasy, his prose has been likened to 'dark, red wine' by a reviewer who knew whereof he spoke, and, best of all, he is really, really old so ebooks of his work are free on Gutenberg.org!

My current favorite of his is 'The King of Elfland's Daughter,' which is, unfortunately, not free, but still good.
